The apples from our local orchards have been juicy (and delicious) this year. We have had cider in the fridge since September and bought a bushel and a half of apples. Some we ate and some are in the freezer to have all winter. Marianne made apple pumpkin bread, butterscotch apple cake and a bunch of applesauce (also frozen). My header was taken at Catoctin Mountain Orchard.com on my last stop for cider.

I'll bet that cider is fabulous!
Mmmm... I love farm fresh apple cider. All ours has to be trucked in. Apples don't grow in Florida. Makes this New England girl miss the Autumn that much more.
