The apples from our local orchards have been juicy (and delicious) this year. We have had cider in the fridge since September and bought a bushel and a half of apples. Some we ate and some are in the freezer to have all winter. Marianne made apple pumpkin bread, butterscotch apple cake and a bunch of applesauce (also frozen).
