The first three months of this year were drier than normal, but April and May have been wet. These shots were taken last Friday as I made a trip to the orchard to buy some strawberries. The clouds were coming over Cotoctin Mountain as I stopped at the orchard. And as I left the rain was coming down.
Near home, the rain was approaching and here is the scene from our porch a short time later.

Fantastic shots, Lew, as always! You can almost feel the changes from sun to rain! Thanks for a lovely look at your world! Have a great weekend!

You could be here most of the time with that downpour. Sometimes even the rain is welcome and refreshing.
You're so lucky - you have rain. Wonderful photos.
great captures. i always like to watch as the storm(s) move in around my part of the world...most of the time they come right out of the west.
hope you enjoyed the strawberries.
Cool photos! Clouds are always interesting. It looks like you got quite a bit of rain.
Nice bit of rain, I could use some here as well. Nice shots. At least you got your strawberries before they got wet.
I don't mind the rain as long as it won't last too long. The earth feels and smells very nice after every rain.
