I recently had several encounters with deer who showed no fear of my presence. These three were walking down the road near the county recycling center when I dropped off some stuff earlier this month. As I snapped a few shots, they seem curious, then turned and walked into the woods. My header was taken a last week, as a pair of deer (second one is out of view to the left) checked out our yard from the field.

Neat capture Lew, I always love to see this wild animal.
It is always rewarding to capture a photo of these beauties. I'm glad they trusted you.
Certainly capturing NO FEAR here Lew my friend, love the Deer.
Love the deer! We live in the suburbs, and on a walk in the nearby woods I almost walked right into a young buck! He just stared at me a while, then went back to munching. I was able to pull off several shots. He just didn't care! Maybe they're just really used to humans. Glad you were able to capture the deer!!
Lovely.
Beautiful animals. And why shoot they fear a gentleman who only shoots with a camera? :-)
