Our World - Signs of spring

Old Man Winter missed his flight back to the North Pole on March 19, but he is now on the bus for a slow trip north (most likely with a stop in Boston). Here, the daffodils are blooming (they have no fear of the old man) and other things in our yard are showing signs of spring.

Rhododendron set their buds in the fall ride out the winter

Lilies are popping up

Dogwood buds warming in the sun

Cherry tree buds reach skyward

Your yard is farther along then mine. No daffodils blooming here in Baltimore County on my property yet.

It's nice to see spring is reaching you, little by little. I'm in Minnesota and we finally lost our snow yesterday. I'm enjoying a brown landscape, which is a nice change from white.
