Tom has given us "railroad" for a theme this week. One of my early posts on blogger was this image of the old railroad station in Frederick. The building has been designated "historic" and not in use for as long as I have lived in Frederick county. Since this picture was taken a parking garage has been built just to its left. When MARC commuter train service was established, a new train station was build one block east of the old station. The old station is still boarded up, waiting for the powers that be to find a suitable historic use.

Your pic shows those nice "leading lines" I was hoping for from a railroad themed composition. It draws a person back into the photo quite effectively.
Our historic station was purchased by an orthopedist and moved to the next town for his office. The waiting room is decorated with great railroad prints.
Very nice look at the old station Lew.
I really love the blue of that roof!
