The finished bed this spring.Most of the flowers are annuals. We add a few smaller plants and new hanging plants. As in all things agricultural, "finished" is a seasonal thing. Weeding is required and the annuals will be replaced next spring.
Several years ago we put railroad ties along the fence behind the azalea bed to the left the one above. Last year I got the ties to go the rest of the way. Behind the grass got done then and I finished behind the shed this June.
