Header Challenge - Unexpected result

When I saw this leaf on the window, the sun was peaking through the clouds and it shined orange. The sun quickly disappeared and when I looked at the result - OOPS - camera was on manual focus - not the image I expected.

You might get unexpected results buying a cake here.

The first time we saw this scene, we got unexpected results. We were eating a restaurant across the street one night. Marianne had a good view of the face, but the wings were hidden in the shadows. She finally said "why is that man not moving?". Finally we decided it was a painting. And indeed it is one of several "trompe l'oeil" paintings by William Cochran in Frederick. Another one is below.

In the early 80's I painted murals. They were mostly Trompe l'oeil. Nothing as good as what you have here, though.

The trompe l'oeil paintings are so unique! I didn't spot the wings, either. Nice job!

There is a town in the Valley with nearly a hundred murals on walls of buildings done by professional artists and depicting history of the region. In one building there are "residents" looking out the windows as well. They are an extra treat in the mural tour.
