There's no chaos quite like a bunch of little kids at a birthday party. Three years ago our first great-grand child celebrated the end of his first year. His parents friends had also been busy starting families, so there were a number of little ones in attendance, not to mention aunts, uncles, grand-parents and eight great-grand parents.

Opening presents
These young girls were willing to help open presents
But surprisingly, no squabbling
A less chaotic moment

Well organized adults keep the chaos of childhood parties from getting out of hand.
I know how busy these things can be. But do you know what I noticed. The young lady in blue... is she his mother? She is wearing those large, hoop earrings near a little boy... recipe for disaster. I hope he didn't pull at them.
Lew: What a fun celebration, we don't have any little ones around anymore.
What a busy busy time! Certainly looks chaotic. But I'm sure it was fun, too!
They must have had a high time! They seem to be enjoying themselves immensely - hurrah for the little ones!
