Last Saturday brought us moody skies,
and then the storms that caused damage and flooding across much of the US reached this area. The strong winds were gone, but heavy rain overflowed the creeks and rivers (and our yard). It will take a few days for the water to flow down stream and for some to recover from the flooding.
And a last shot taken as I prepared this post.

Now those are some seriously grumpy skies, Lew!! I hope you didn't suffer any flood damage to your property!!! Terrific, dramatic captures for the day!! Hope you get to "dry out" over the weekend!!
I do like misty scenes, they can be so atmospheric, like these.

I am glad to see these moody skies have gone away.. We had the rain for a few days too. It was awful, flooded roads everywhere. Happy Sunday!
