Brother-in-Law and his wife host
a CELEBRATION of the end of the school year. Friends, neighbors, and
family are invited. Sometimes called a "pig picking" - Barbeque pork and
chicken, corn on the cob, etc. are served. Guests also bring additional
dishes and desserts.
Games are set up for both the adults and youngsters
(Little guy below in red shirt is our great-grandson)
The nephews help John put away tables and chairs (so did I when not taking pictures). We will be celebrating with them again soon.

A great idea and it looks like an ideal place for it. We have celebrated the end of the year for our volunteers, and next month the family will celebrate Cousin Camp once again.
Great pictures once again Lew.. over here in the UK we seem to celebrate very little... I think we need to make much more effort.
Friends and neighbors and family. I like that idea! When we lived in Chicago, my wife and I used to do something like that on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Great times!
Family n friends, lew great celebrations
Lew, great images of a great day! We've been looking forward to warmer weather FOREVER, too.
That was a fun time Lew, thanks for sharing the celebration.
