Wednesday afternoon a fast and furious storm passed over us with strong winds and brief, but heavy rain. The western sky cleared with blue sky and fluffy clouds.

Looking southwest at sunset, the last of the clouds, while southeast (below) was still stormy. The wind stayed strong and blew in frigid air, making for a cold, windy Thursday.

Just shows that over the clouds the sky is always blue :-)
Such neat pictures. The fourth one is so pretty; it'd make a great wall paper.
