My header was one of the last pictures I took of my Mom during a visit in December 1999. We had given her roses for Christmas and she was getting a close look. She was in the late stages of Alzheimer's disease and died four months later. My post gives glimpses of Mom over her 83 years.

Lew: I really enjoyed your photos of your Mom. She was a lovely lady and you can be so happy with all your photos of her.
Most pictures from the 70's are embarrassing, but your mother's portrait is absolutely perfect. Very classy.
