Header Challenge - Holiday Images in the town square

The intersection of Market and Patrick Streets is the town square of the City of Frederick. My header looks across the square last Saturday night with light rain falling and holiday decorations in place. The above image looks north on Market Street and people are still out around 9:00 PM.

Nearby store windows are decorated for the Christmas season in hopes that we will venture inside and spend a little cash.

And a block north of the square, the twin spires of the Lutheran Church pierce the night.

Lew: Nicely shown, what a neat look at your town center. I thought you were going to show a typical old town square. Yours is a crossing street just like Kent.

I'll bet that Christmas tree on the second floor is practically invisible during the day, but the blue-ish treelights make a bright contrast to the amber glow of the streetlights that wash over the rest of the scene. Excellent selection, Lew!
