Last Saturday, we attended a memorial service for Eric Ackermann, G.M. His grave (he died in 1986) is in a small cemetery near the Mother Elizabeth Ann Seton Shrine. For more images and info on Eric see my post A tribute to a Brit.

Lew, lovely shots of the grave and the sky. Some very familiar scenes, I am a graduate of the Seton High School in Baltimore. We had visits there too.
Such a lovely and moving post for the day, Lew! Beautiful skies! Thanks for sharing!
A wonderful post paying tribute to your friend. The sight of the cross is awesome.
Love the photo of the crucifix. I have a sister named after St. Elizabeth Seton. I have never been to her shrine, though.
I like all of these shots Lew but that second one is an inspiring shot! I love everything about it.
The others are lovely as well. I'm just drawn to the middle one. :)
Thanks for stopping by.
Lovely skies and a moving tribute.
Le calvaire est absolument superbe, bravo... Quel ciel magnifique...
Love that second shot.
