PhotoHunt - Loud fireworks

I don't have the sound but these fireworks were loud. For the history buffs, these fireworks were in celebration of the inauguration of Ronald Reagan in January, 1981.For the photogs, shots were taken with 35mm Ektachrome slide film and scanned this week with my Ion Omni Scan received as a Christmas gift (Thanks again Susan!).

It is not easy to get such excellent photos of fireworks, especially in the "old days" when each shot cost real money and you could not just fire away. Nice work (both with photography and scanning)

I am invited to photograph the world pyrolympics versus two countries excluding Philippines this March here in Manila. I'm not confirming my attendance yet but upon seeing these wonderful photos, I think I'll be saying yes.

These photos will be my benchmark. Happy weekend. :)
