Two weeks ago I spotted a large flock of Canada geese on the water and stopped to take a few shots. As I was shooting, a good many took flight and headed south over the bridge to my left. Two minutes later the rest took flight toward the setting sun and circled back to follow the others. More shots of the geese here.

It's a thrill to watch them fly. If they're flying low you can hear the honking. Love that sound.

I envy you this sight, so late in the year. Norwegian geese start leaving Norway in August.
