Our skies have looked like this recently, with white sky over white ground (shot February 1). The next three were from January 15 and the last was February 2 in the late afternoon.

Maryland, My Maryland. So glad I am not there at the moment. It looks cold and the snow needs to melt! :)
The white on white reminds me of Ontario right now, Lew. I guess it makes us appreciate colour when we finally see it. :)
the blueness of the last one is very striking (especially compared with the whiteness of the first one!)
Love the color in the last photo. Swaths laid down like in watercolors.
As I scrolled down I found one better than the other. Difficult to rate.
That last one was worth waiting for, Lew. The one above it is great, too.

The sky looks like those we have had. I think your skies are nicer though. Our brought us ice.
I am loving the colors in that last photo. Says "Winter" to me perfectly.
Lovely shots--I like the first one. I would love to be sitting by the window looking out on that peaceful winter scene.
