Today started out cold at out house with ice on the bushes and this weeping maple that is just starting to open its leaf buds.
But around the City of Frederick trees are blooming. Two shots from the south side of town. Looking north on Market Street (above) and this perfectly pink weeping specimen around the corner.
And two on the north side. This tree got a trim last year, but is showing some blooms and another tree lined street.

Very nice captured!
I will continue to see their new passing incorporacions.
It's beautiful. All the different types of flowering trees are like a fairlyland. I'm a bit jealous of the weeping cherry!
Those flowering trees are marvellous. We are not quite there yet - but we're coming!
Really beautiful Lew and it looks like quite an historic area too.
Your town looks so beautiful dressed up in frilly pink and white.
Spring... I love the trees blooming and flowers, too. Makes me feel happy and looking forward to warmer weather.
Streets are made beautiful by the trees that line them, especially this time of the year. Great photos, Lew. Thanks for sharing them.
