Day 2 of 2009 ended with a nice sunset.
Then the gray set in for a few days.
Wednesday the gray clouds dropped some freezing rain.
And Thursday some blue peeked through the clouds.

Hi, Thanks for visiting my SWF shot. You've got an interesting series of shots. Boy, you really got hit with the ice. Amazing how the weather can change so quickly...but not here in Calif. It's pretty much the same all the time - blue skies! Boring! (By the way, I have a Nikon D40 and mostly use the 18-200 mm lens. I've had the camera for a couple years and I'm still trying to figure out all the features!) Cheers.
That was a nice capture of the beginning of 2009! If that variety is to be typical for 2009 we are in for quite year.
Lew: Nice shots of the changeable sky. This sounds like the story of my Winter so far.
