Header Challenge - B&W photos

Our challenge was to post black and white photos. My camera does not have a true b&w feature. It does have a feature that allows converting a color image to monochrome and my header was converted inside the camera.

I captured this roofers finishing a job in the late afternoon with almost no color in the white house and late afternoon shadows. The foggy morning sun and bare trees also resulted in a b&w  image.

These three were converted to b&w with Photoshop

Enjoyed your show Lew.

I converted mine in the computer as well, but they were so monochromatic that they could have been posted straight out of the camera.

I like all your images, but especially the tree. I love winter trees, and black & white really helps to bring out the shadows and shapes of their branches.

Those are all nice shots! I convert pictures in Photoshop, but for B&W I pick high-contrast images that are close to monochromatic.
