We put up two bird houses last spring. This one did not get used, but the one on the back fence did. With cold temperatures and occasional snow, the birds have been visiting our feeders. The small birds were having trouble with the wire mesh suet holder, so I made one where they have room to stand and nibble.

I too had to get rid the 'cheap metal' feeder but didn't have time or skills to create what you did ~ very clever and creative!

Sweet birds. I like your suet feeder. I've been wanting to make a new birdfeeder. Yours has given me a possible idea. :-)
