Our World - A little snow

Our winter has been mild so far. A few cold spells and some wet spells, but usually not together. Last Saturday night they got together and we a got a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain, but not enough to cause many problems. First two shots were taken at 2:30 AM and the last two a little after 8.

- I am retired, married to a smart, talented lady who once thought we computer people were geeks and now is one of us geeks. I have a long time interest in photography. last year I would have said brrrr, snow? again? this year I roll my eyes with nostalgy and say: oooh, snooow! we miss it! everything is so dry here! so thank you for such beautiful pictures of the white fluff :))!
Snow glorious snow!
Your bottom photo looks like a winter wonderland :-) We had only a little snow early on in late October and then again last weekend. It is all gone now and temperature is much warmer. Stay warm.
Your world looks like mine did last week, Lew! The snow is so beautiful! It's only when the whole city can't deal with the unusual happening -- as it was in Seattle, that you're really happy to see the snow GO!! Lovely captures for the day!

I like these scenes very much. Can't quite explain why they appeal though: I am not fond of snow, and they might be considered ordinary. But the quality and the immediacy are so outstanding, that I was captivated.
Impressive shot in the dark with such clarity.
I love photos of snow. I don't see any here (south Georgia) so I do enjoy visiting sites that post pictures of snow. I enlarged your photos and looked around. What fun!!! I see a bird bath that it filled with snow, and I smile. Just beautiful to me!!!!

Hi Lew, we also got some snow but it was on Friday night into Saturday morning. Just an inch or two. Like your snow just enough to make a pretty winter wonderland. Have a great day.
