Our skies have been varied this spring with storms often blowing past, though not as ferocious as the ones across the southern US. Tuesday afternoon, the sun popped out and I went out to get shots of the clearing sky. As I took the above shot a gentle rain began to fall and I was pleased to get a faint rainbow. The next shot was taken of the rain with "sports" setting and the third with "auto" (click to enlarge). The last two shots were taken Wednesday afternoon about 2 hours apart.

Beautiful photos. Glad the storms have not interfered with your photography jaunts. :)
Great shots indeed.

Wonderful series of shots, Lew! The first one is my favorite. I love rainbows. Have a great weekend and happy skywatching.
I have heard parts of the US has had some bad times weather-wise, but this looked very peaceful and inviting.
