Many of the buildings in Frederick have roof top windows (or dormers). Above is an old cannery building that is being remodeled for offices and shops. It appears that the work has been put on hold until the economy improves. Below are new buildings with dormer styled windows. The far building with the curved roof is the Frederick County Public School office that I have posted previously.

Although I think the added dormers look very nice, I'm a little miffed that they ruined the old architecture with modern design.
Aesthetically I like this combination of old building with new windows better than the structure in Bucharest I posted a few days ago HERE.
