Have you ever needed to replace one of these and the trip lever inside the tank? A couple of months ago, our original lever (plastic) broke, meaning the toilet would not flush. I could not find an exact replacement, so I bought this one with a brass rod that I bent to fit. It works properly sometimes, but often will not let the flapper valve close so the water keeps on running. This week I have been on a mission to locate a hard to find replacement that works. Thought I had one Friday, but not quite a fit, so the search continues.

How interesting!! No I have never had to try and find one of them. Good luck on your quest - definitely something you can't do with out! Enjoy your weekend.
