On Tuesday Marianne and I were out with our cameras wandering around Frederick. While sitting on the patio of a restaurant having dinner, I noticed some nice cloud formations backlit by the late afternoon sun. As we were walking back to the car a bright white streak appeared overhead above the low fluffy clouds. First a plane and then some geese passed overhead. As we neared the car, the white streak and the lower clouds drifted apart. We both posted pics that day (Marianne's and mine) on our Project 365 blogs.

Love all the interesting cloud textures in these skies! Just beautiful!
Hi Lew,
You got some winners here in this Sky Watch Friday post. I like all of them.
My Sky Watch Friday blog is at my
Canon Pixels blog. If you have time I would appreciate your having a look at the sky peeking through the oak tree leaves./a>
Excellent series. What luck to find the streak, the geese, and the colors in the sky.
The first one fo the delicate pastel light is fabulous, but those birds were agreat catch.
we must be twins, as the week before I took photos for Sky Watch Friday at the driving range, and in one photo I had a plane and in another I had Canada Geese.......

What a nice set of photos.....I like them all too.
My neighbour from across the road said she saw some geese flying over our house the other week. Never saw them myself.
Great photos, Lew! Wonder what that streak was...?
