My World - First Birthday Party

Our youngest grandson, Lewis, had his first birthday party last Saturday and we had a great time with him and his older brother (soon to be 4)! Big brother was a willing and helpful particpant, helping with balloons and checking out all of the toys after Lewis opened them.

Geometry - In the skyline

Sky Watch - Blue and white skies

The first two images are the skies over the arts festival last Saturday. The other three were taken Monday morning as the clouds gently floated by.

Window views - Doggie in the window

We were riding through the neighborhood Tuesday to see what flowers were blooming and Marianne spotted this second story sight. I could not resist stopping and grabbing the camera while the doggie in the window just watched us.

My World - Festival of the arts

This month the City of Frederick First Saturday celebration coincided with the Frederick Festival of the Arts. The juried arts and crafts show was held along the banks of Carroll Creek. Music, food, kayaks and paddleboats were available, providing entertainment for all ages. Over a hundred artists exhibited (and offered for sale) their work. There were other artists creating works at several locations in other locations downtown.
