Our World - Toys for Tots

The local US Marine Corps Reserves, supported by businesses and other groups, have long sponsor a drive to make Christmas  for kids whose families may be struggling financially. Last Saturday, they were at the Wal-Mart near us. Radio station WFRE was broadcasting  and Harley-Davidson of Frederick provided transportation for the collected toys. In addition to operations like this, there are over a hundred drop-off boxes in businesses around Frederick.

A few toys from us to add.

The trailer is filling up

and it is a long trailer!

Sepia Scenes - Lady in hat, Barbados

Twenty-five years and a few months ago, this lovely lady and I were married and enjoyed a honeymmon in Barbados. It's been a great quarter century, my love!

Light and shadows - Morning sun

Early morning in the fall and winter gives wonderful light and shadows across the field and our backyard. I decreased brightness and increased contrast in the image below and then repeated for even more shadows in the third image. Which do you prefer?.

Sky Watch - Blue and gray

With our skies alternating between blue and gray recently, I pointed my camera straight up. And then I went back to find a blue sky shot from early March with a little earth bound interest.
