Here are three views of windows from the back alleys and side streets in Frederick. Many of the older buildings offer a close view of their neighbors. Above, the building on the left is a parking garage. The second has a more open view and the third is the second floor windows and balcony overlooking a small courtyard.

It is very quiet in your post - I see many windows, and no people. Shh, I feel like there's a baby sleeping in the middle one. The third one looks like an elegant home.
Excellent job, Lew, Don't often get the back street view of a town or city.
I like your creative take, Lew, showing us some back windows.
People usually like to present the view from the front, but photographically the view from the back is often more interesting - as here.
