Our driveway has needed resurfacing for the past few years and we finally decided to "get her done"! The equipment arrived about 8:30 followed by the crew. They did the prep work and then left to prepare two other driveways in the neighborhood. By 1:30 they were back with a load of asphalt, spread it and rolled it and by 2:15 we had a new driveway. The crew then headed down the street to finished their other two jobs. That is a lot of hot, hard work for a day!
Definitely not what I would want to do on a hot day either, but the good thing is all the trees at least offered some shade! Always good to get the job done though! Enjoy your week, Lew -- and your new driveway! It does look great!
I joined the Header Challenge team in November. We post a new header each week on a suggested theme. Imac is the founder and head of the team. The members vote for best header and the winner gets the gold. The links above will take you to the other participants.

That is not a job I would enjoy on a hot summer's day! At least there were quite a few working together to get it done fast.

i didn't know it's quite fast to do this. our driveway needs some resurfacing, too.:p
It makes me tired just looking at the photos. It seems like they did a good job, and you documented it very well. Thanks for sharing.
