We have several bushes and flowers that purple flowers. Here are two that are currently blooming: the dark purple of the clematis and the faint purple of the hosta. The clematis bloom on the right had the morning sun shining on the back of the petals, making it look transparent.

Summer is the time for flower, and you have found some fine specimens - I enyy you, since our summer has not been much of a success.
