Last Saturday, we attended a memorial service for Eric Ackermann, G.M. His grave (he died in 1986) is in a small cemetery near the Mother Elizabeth Ann Seton Shrine. For more images and info on Eric see my post A tribute to a Brit.
I like all of these shots Lew but that second one is an inspiring shot! I love everything about it. The others are lovely as well. I'm just drawn to the middle one. :)
Lew, lovely shots of the grave and the sky. Some very familiar scenes, I am a graduate of the Seton High School in Baltimore. We had visits there too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely and moving post for the day, Lew! Beautiful skies! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful post paying tribute to your friend. The sight of the cross is awesome.
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the crucifix. I have a sister named after St. Elizabeth Seton. I have never been to her shrine, though.
