Only the window separates these two from a good chase! The squirrels have demonstrated they are much faster than the neighborhood cats. (Ours are indoor cats and only get to watch, and perchance to dream of catching the squirrel.)
The squirrels were raiding our bird feeders on our deck. We solved the problem by making the deck escape proof for our two cats and turned them out there every morning.
The cats are trilled, the birds get feed and now the squirrels tend to stay away.
