Empty windows like this are a sign of the times. This was the show room of a Nissan/Oldsmobile dealer and its demise preceded the current auto sales decline. It closed after GM dropped the Oldsmobile line. (I had bought an Olds here back in the 80's.) The service area was behind and to the right of this building. It has been empty for quite a few years.
I joined the Header Challenge team in November. We post a new header each week on a suggested theme. Imac is the founder and head of the team. The members vote for best header and the winner gets the gold. The links above will take you to the other participants.

I am retired, married to a smart, talented lady who once thought we computer people were geeks and now is one of us geeks. I have a long time interest in photography. We live in Maryland, about 50 miles from Washington, DC.

Sadly there are too many windows like that these days.
Lew, I could fill up my hard drive, with all the empty space I see( yet somehow they keep building )...sad state of the nation, if not the world, yes?
I have noticed more such empty windows around town here on the West Coast too.
those windows tell a story, that's for sure
Please stop by and see the view from my window
That's the way a lot of windows look here, Lew. Who takes care of your car now? :)
Interesting window choice ... certainly a sign of our times.
Hugs and blessings,
