Header Challenge - Macro



Kathy selected macro for our theme this week. Technically that means the image size on film (or the camera sensor) is the same size as the object being photographed. I do not have a lens that will focus that close, so these mages are "almost" macro.

    Near macro should have been the actual theme designation as I don't really have macro either, nor am I techie enough to recognize the difference. So far, there have been some common threads among our near macro images--flowers and bugs. The bubble wrap is a nice touch--unique so far. One more headbanger to post.

    Those are some great "almost" macro shots, Lew, especially the bees' nest! I really like that one.
