One building and two lots with facades in downtown Frederick have been closed for a long time. At the beginning of March, the properties were to be sold at auction. I have not heard whether the sale was completed and what the plans the new owners might have.

I see that the auctioneers are called "Billig". In Norwegian that means "Cheap". Maybe there is a connection :-)
Rune's comment makes these photos even more intriguing! Closed doors always seem to equal a heavy silence...sometimes sadness...just like these buildings! Love the perspective of these photos!
