Window Views - VW's from the past

Early models had two small rear windows

More photos from the Frederick First Saturday Vintage VW show.

This 56 model had one oval rear window

In the 60's the window got larger and rectangular

This 67 bus had lots of windows

And the front opened to let the breeze flow

    Wow, front opening windows! That's an uncommon sight. When I was a kid (a long time ago) my parents had a VW bus - they needed it with 5 kids!

    Ah Lew, I love this post! I currently drive a bug - my husband bought it and I was not the least bit thrilled THEN I drove it and fell in love!!
