Sky Watch Friday - The morning after

Last Friday I posted the sunset of March 22. This week is the sunrise of March 23. I saw the moon in the dawn sky and went out to take a few shots. I then walked into the field for a clear view of the horizon where the sun would soon appear. There were contrails from the early morning flights that can be seen in some of these shots. And the last is a few to the southwest of the sun beginning to light the field.

  8. I enjoyed that one - I much prefer the sunrise to the sunset.

  12. Looks like the field hasn't been planted yet. Still the possibility of frost?

  15. Lovely. For a long time I have wanted to take a photo from the same spot every 5 minutes for an entire day, from early light to sunset to se how the sky changes. I've never had a whole free day let alone the stamina to sit that long to take the shots, but maybe some day with the help of a friend.
