Header Challenge - White linens

The challenge this week is "linen". The Christmas stuff was packed away, not to reappear until December, so I chose white linens for this header challenge. 

 

But to show we are not always monotone, here are four samples of our placemats. Also note that the striped placemat at the bottom of the image below appears in my new header on Lew's pics.

 

Our World - Winter white

The Christmas stuff has been put back in storage and Marianne has redecorated the mantle with a winter white theme, including the snowy owls.

Header Challenge - Let it snow

Craver said "let it snow" and it did snow across most of the northern part of the US. The pictures here were taken December 24, 26 and 29. I first planned to use the above image of the nearby farm in snow. But I liked the close-up of snow and water drops on the windshield of our van (taken from inside). There are a few more snow pics on my Our World post Tuesday. Use the links in my sidebar to see the work of the other challengers.

Our World - A little snow

We have had snow three times in December and a white Christmas. It was only a couple inches each time and did not cause major problems (as was the case further west). Above are snowflakes and water drops on the windshield, seen from inside our van. Below are two shots looking across the field behind our house and one night shot of the snow falling.
