Header Challenge - Century old Cars

Christine chose "Something that starts with the letter C" as our theme this week. There was our cat and of course cows on the nearby farms and plenty of "c" foods. But I remembered the display of old cars we saw on our visit to Luray Caverns in 2012. So here are some of the Century old Cars that were on display.
1892 Benz

 1904 Cadillac

 1904 and 1906 Cadillacs

1914 Ford model T Milk Wagon

1915 Chevrolet

Our World - Signs of spring

Old Man Winter missed his flight back to the North Pole on March 19, but he is now on the bus for a slow trip north (most likely with a stop in Boston). Here, the daffodils are blooming (they have no fear of the old man) and other things in our yard are showing signs of spring.

Header Challenge - My favorite place to visit

I first saw Ansel Adams pictures of Yosemite when I was a kid (Dad subscribed to Popular Photography). I was amazed by the beauty of the place and Adams photography. In June1990 we spent a few days exploring (and photographing) this beautiful place.

One afternoon, I photographed Half Dome as the sunset. Above, the shadows are creeping up the mountain. Below, the last bit of sun light on the top.

Yosemite Falls from the valley floor.

My favorite person with whom to visit any place enjoying the sun along the Merced River.

Looking across the valley at Yosemite Falls (above)
and looking east at Nevada and Vernal Falls (below).

Our World - Progress along Carroll Creek

The City of Frederick is extending the linear park along Carroll Creek further east. A month ago this section was covered (third picture in my post Our world more creek work). The brick walkways and lights are being installed. (Water level has been lowered during work)
