Sky Watch - Sunset

Late afternoon clearing on October 24 gave way to a beautiful sunset which Marianne spotter and I got my camera.

Header Challenge - Fall colors

 October started with a burst of yellow,

 while our mailbox plants maintained their colors,

 and the mountain showed touches of color.

 The pumpkins were bright,

and a few gourds and pumkins added color to our porch.

Our World - Squirrely

The acorns were plentiful this year and the squirrels

have been busy eating and hoarding acorns.

 The neighbor's cat takes an interest

while the squirrel seems unconcerned.

I have yet to see a cat catch a squirrel. Our cat stays inside, but takes an interest when a squirrel approaches a window or door.

Sky Watch - Blue and white

 The clouds have floated by, sometimes with little puffs,

 sometimes hiding the blue

 and sometimes dropping us a good bit of water.
