Sky Watch Friday - Sepia sunrise and fog

Sepia sunrise

The first three shots were taken between 7:15 and 7:30 AM on November 15. They have not been altered except to resize for posting. The first was taken through our dining room window and the others out in the yard. (I posted another view of this on Lew's Pics.) The fog quickly dissipated, leaving blue sky and light clouds. The sunset was taken at 5:00 PM.

  3. Great shots through the fog and the mist. I enjoy this kind of weather as long as it doesn't hang around too long.

  14. My friend and I were recently talking about how modern society has evolved to become so integrated with technology. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further advances, the possibility of uploading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about all the time.
