Sky Watch Friday - Changing skies

11:45 AM Looking east

Last Friday started with (link to Apr 4) rain. By noon it was bright with sun peeking through the clouds and patches of blue.

11:46 AM Looking southeast

6:03 PM Looking south

Around 6:00 PM the clouds thickened and went rolling by.

6:04 PM Looking southwest

6:05 PM Looking southwest

6:06 PM Looking west

    Great photos Lew. Very creative. The sky around my house was terrible today do to a fire but thanks to you I get these wonderful views. :-)

    a truly fab series of clouds...the colors and intensity changed so dramatically...i think i like the last and the second best if i were to choose.

    i just love photographing clouds and skies...always and forever changing.

    Great sequence of glowering clouds. Did you ever get the weather they seem to portend? I really love the last shot - a lot of rumbling gray and some blue for hope...
